Friends, it has been another great year for my blog, Theology & Life! God has been gracious to bring more visitors to my site. Hopefully those people have been impacted for the better by my writing.
This year my blog, as a whole, has received more views than ever before. Much of the traffic has been organic, which is a tremendous blessing. That shows me more people are coming to my blog without being referred by another link.
Additionally, I made the choice to not share the number because I don’t want it to appear like I’m bragging, and I know my own heart. I’ve been consistently blogging since 2018, and I’m happy so say it’s continuing to grow. To be sure, I don’t blog simply to gain viewership; but it certainly is welcome to have more people visit and read my work.
With that said, Here are the five most-viewed posts:
“God hears you. He is there. He is “all ears.” You just need to do two things. One, you need to pray. Cry out to him; go to him often—for anything. Sometimes we think he doesn’t hear because . . . we’re not praying. Second, open your Bible and let him speak. You may have said your prayer but you won’t hear from him if your Bible is closed.”
Does God Love Everyone the Same?
“The Bible makes it very clear that God has a special, affectionate, redeeming love for His children. It should not be controversial to say this: God loves His children differently than unbelievers. It’s a covenantal love, a love that is eternal and unbreakable. God does not have that same relationship with unbelievers.”
“I believe He was able to get sick so He could sympathize with us more. So the next time you catch a stomach bug, have a cold, or whatever it is, you can understand that Jesus went through it as well.”
“I want to go deeper; I desire to have more robust communion with God. That’s the struggle for all Christians, isn’t it? Or, at the very least, it should be. We should all want deeper fellowship with the Lord. Every single one of us should sincerely desire to have a more profound experience with God. Deeper communion leads to deeper sanctification.”
Sing Your Heart Out, Christian
“Singing is therapeutic in a spiritual sense. It is a tremendous help, a sweet solace when we are stricken with affliction. When suffering shows its fangs, we must sing. I told my oldest, Jovi, to “dance your heart out, kid,” as she left for dance class recently. In the same fashion: Christian, sing your heart out! When times are tough, when the waves of life are stressful, don’t be afraid to belt a song out as loud as you possibly can. Sing to the Lord, for He is good!”
In 2025, you will continue to see consistent blogs from me. I am gearing up in a few months to release my new devotional, but plan to keep blogging at the same time.
Thank you all for reading my blog! I hope you continue to be edified by my writing. To God be the glory!
