There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (‭‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬‬:‭1‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

Christian, you are no longer condemned in Christ.

From the moment you took your first breath to right before you came to saving faith, you were condemned. You were under God’s righteous, holy, and just wrath. You were under His wrath because of sin—your sin.

But praise be to God, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take away the wrath of God, to take away the punishment, to strip away the fear of His wrath. You are no longer condemned. Live freely under the sovereign and Fatherly care of God.

The knowledge that we stand no longer condemned is the best news in the world—nothing will ever touch the sweetness of that news, the good news—the gospel. The news that we, as sinners, have been made new and are no longer condemned by God—it doesn’t get better than that. It’s too good not to be true!

Friend, go about your day with the knowledge of being no longer condemned. It’ll impact how you think, how you speak, how you live. As it should.
