Though I don’t normally prepare a devotional for Sundays, I wanted to do one for today for obvious reasons.

Jesus is Risen!

Do you believe this, Christian? The Lord Jesus Christ, our wonderful Savior, has risen from the grave! Death could not hold Him (Acts 2:24). We do not serve a dead Savior, but One who is alive, indeed.

By resurrecting from the grave, Jesus was vindicated and declared victory over sin, death, and hell. And even more so, His resurrection assured our future resurrection—if we are in Him.

Friend, if you are in Christ, His resurrection is our resurrection—it’s the most wonderful news in the world. It’s too good not to be true! However, if you are not in Him, I pray you repent of your sins and believe in the finished work of Christ, for it is your only hope.

Let us celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ today with our churches, our families, and marvel at the glory of God.
